Administrative Officer - £8.00ph + holiday pay

Our Client Local Authority in South London is looking for an innovative administrative assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Responding to routine enquiries from members of the public, this could be face to face, over the phone, email and letter
  • Providing full administrative support to the department
  • Keeping accurate records and filing  
  • Organising and managing data systems
  • Typing Own Correspondence
  • Monitoring out sourced contractors
  • Photocopying, faxing and scanning

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of working within Local Authorities
  • Ability to effectively use a range of IT applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and other applications
  • Good communication both verbal and written
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision
  • Audio typing an advantage
