Working for a Local Authority and based in Kings Cross, we are looking for an experienced Administrator/Finance Assistant

Based within the Parking Department, the administrative duties will include:

  • Providing a professional and customer focused admin support to the team
  • Drafting routine correspondence
  • Responding to basic request for information
  • Receiving and filtering telephone calls; taking and distributing messages
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, including logging and scanning
  • Data input
  • Assisting with organisation of meetings and events
  • Taking minutes of meetings
  • Ensuring adequate stocks of stationery and publications are available

Financial duties will include:

  • Receipt and banking of cash, cheques and electronic payments
  • Raising requisitions, invoices and journal payments

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Local Authority experience
  • Experience of providing admin support to a team
  • Finance experience
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills including Word and Excel (e-buy an advantage)
