Business Support Officer - £10.42ph + holiday pay

Applicants must have previous experience of working within Local Authorities

Local Authority in North West London is looking for a Business Support Officer to join their busy team.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Responding to routine enquiries from members of the public, this could be face to face, over the phone, email and letter
  • Providing full administrative support to the department
  • Keeping accurate records and filing 
  • Organising and managing data systems
  • Ordering and maintaining of office supplies
  • Setting up & organising meetings and events
  • Taking minutes of meetings
  • Diary Management

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of working within Local Authorities
  • Ability to effectively use a range of IT applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and other applications
  • Good communication both verbal and written
  • Good numeracy skills
  • NVQ Qualification desirable
  • Ability to deal sensitively and discretely with confidential matters
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision
  • Enhanced CRB desirable
