We are recruiting for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to expand their experience by working within the Temporary Accommodation Team.  

You will be part of a busy frontline service providing temporary accommodation for homeless households 

Knowledge of Northgate, Iclipse, Lagan and Microsoft Office is preferable.

Administrator Duties will include:

  • Managing the procedure for voids turnaround by liaising with Voids, Rehousing, Allocations Housing Options and Advice Team, the contractors and Housing Options and Advice team to monitor the turnaround times in accordance with the PIs set for the service;
  • Utilising the Northgate system to monitor and track void properties through the process and produce statistics
  • Monitor the team group mail inbox and the progress of complaints, member’s enquiries to ensure they are actioned within the allocated timescales; contractor enquiries and other urgent requests on behalf of the team.
  • Monitor and manage progress of Landlord repairs to ensure satisfactory completion
  • Raising repairs works orders, monitoring its progress until completion. 
  • Liaising with Agents, Landlord, contractors and covering other duties as they arise
  • Organise and attend team meetings and other project working groups, taking notes and producing written records and ensuring resultant actions are carried out within agreed timescales


The successful Administrator will have:

  • Local Authority experience 
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a target orientated environment
  • Ability to communicate confidently particularly when dealing with members of the public
  • Good knowledge of various IT systems such as Northgate, Iclipse, Lagan and Microsoft Office
