Hotel Receptionist - £18,000 p.a.

Day Shifts

Early: 7am – 3.30pm

Afternoon: 2pm – 10.30pm

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hotel Receptionist with EXCELLENT knowledge of the Opera Reservation System.

You must be proactive, reliable and provide exceptional customer service to all guests.

MUST be happy to work the OCCASIONAL night shift (10.30pm – 7am) to cover when the night receptionist is off

You will have 25 days holiday plus bank holidays!

Duties will include:

  • Being 1st point of contact both face to face and over the phone
  • Dealing with enquiries
  • Taking reservations for apartments by phone, e-mail, face to face and fax
  • Dealing with bookings via the extranet
  • Emailing booking confirmations
  • Liaising with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals
  • Checking guests in and out
  • Diary Management
  • Data entry
  • Taking cash and credit card payments
  • Dealing with and resolving guest complaints
  • Filing, faxing, photocopying and scanning

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Hotel Receptionist or serviced apartment experience
  • Opera Reservation systems experience
  • Front line customer service skills
  • Diary management experience
  • Good IT skills, including Word, Excel & Outlook
